That I would be in a class of people learning Italian who had some prior knowledge of the language. That I would meet interesting people.

It met my expectations.

I loved it. Some of my obstacles were being afraid to speak, and needing to plan what I was going to say. I think I made a lot of progress because I spoke more freely than ever before.

We switched classrooms so we ended up in the room with the piano. The room is not ideal—the acoustics are not good; students are not around a table looking at and engaging with each other so it’s more difficult to see and hear what people are saying.

1. It might be a good idea to have students hand in and talk about the story they wrote for homework, rather than reading it word for word. And as needed, the teacher would provide assistance.
2. I think the afternoon extra sessions could be more interactive, rather than doing worksheets.

I expected to be able to process the information more readily and be able to speak basic Italian. I thought I had some language skills at the start, but they seemed to be less than I had hoped.

I wasn't ready for the pace of the course. I have never studied a language in an intensive format before, so the pace was unexpected.

The teachers are excellent. However the teaching style did not allow for a review of material already presented. Even though I studied every night and weekends, I had a hard time processing all of the lessons and information. I would have preferred a review of past material in class before moving on to new material.

As I mentioned above, I would suggest a brief review period in class before moving on to the next lesson.

It's obvious that the school is cramped for space, however a small kitchenette with a microwave and electric tea kettle (to heat water) would be great. Many students bring their own lunches and a place to take a break and warm up food would add to the inclusive atmosphere.

I have a lot of experience in higher education, but not with language study. In general, you have excellent teachers who make students feel comfortable. I really appreciated the extra private lessons that the school offered. My expectations had more to do with myself and my disappointment in my own ability to remember and quickly recall vocabulary and mentally make conversions with verbs. I hope this comes in time, but I did notice that the younger students naturally are much sharper. Maybe it's generally unrealistic to think that 4 weeks would be enough to jump start whatever skills I already had, but instead, I only got stuck in my head and have not been able to process what I have learned and studied to the point of speaking. I do feel that the effort in appropriate placement was much appreciated!

Secondo me, nulla di importante. L’esperienza è stata molto positiva.

Continuate così: le lezioni, i professori e le attività extra classe sono stati molto utili.

Una scuolla ni cui gli insegnati hanno a cuore di lavorare e di aiutare gli studenti di tutti livelli.

Gli insegnanti eranno molto attentivi e i loro consigli sono tanti multi comodi..

Ho detto molte volte a signor Ori che ́lavatrice non fonctiona bene.Ma dopo 3 settimane la lavatrice è ancora oggi rotta.

Ho trovato che come in tutte gli scuole ni cui ho insegnato è difficile che gli studenti parlanno solo in la lingua imparata. Credo che tutti i insegnanti hanno fatto un fantastico lavoro per aiutare tutto ha usato italiano. Bravi!

Sono molto felice e vorrei ritornare nel futuro.

I was very impressed by the excellent organisation and the patient and competent teachers.
The accommodation with Signora Patrizia near the school was excellent. Will come again and recommend it to my friends.

Extremely well, but it was a little bit difficult for me. Will repeat the same course again. I was able to understand much more, but need a lot of practice to speak and use the grammar.

I had no set expectations, but to start learning and understanding the Italian language better.

The school far exceeded my expectations & both Professoressa Maria & Stefania were great!!
