What a wonderful experience of immersing into Italian language with a fantastic environment of commited teachers and staff and fellow students. The philosophy of "You have to have positive emotions and community to learn" is working out extremely well, be it with the strong focus on dialogue and exchange on personal topics in the course and the activities afterwords and also the atmosphere that encourages everyone to speak only Italian, no matter how much you speak.
Ich war zwei Wochen im Intensiv-Kurs. Tolle Erfahrung! Lehrer sind super, Tempo gut, interessante Mitstudenten. Sehr familiärer Vibe in der Schule und oft gibt es Aisflüge am Nachmittag oder Kochkurse am Abend. Klare Empfehlung und ich werde es irgendwann nochmals machen. Ciao
J'ai hésité avant de m'inscrire à cause du mot "intensif" et puis.. les cours se sont révélés agréablement fluides ; le temps passe vite.
L'organisation, les profs ; l'ensemble est très pro et l'ambiance au top, très bienveillante.

The teachers were very patient, very concentrated and had a delightful sense of humor. The work was quite intense, with just the right amount of homework, leaving time to enjoy the city..
If possible, I would like to return in the spring.
I had some ongoing health problems and the staff were very understanding, kind and patient.

Es war eine unfassbar tolle Zeit! Ich habe drei Wochen Sprachkurs gemacht und kann die Sprachschule jedem empfehlen!! Die Lehrer sind super nett, zugewandt und lustig, der Unterricht ist gut geplant und in kleinen Gruppen!! Ich habe das Gefühl die Stimmung in der Schule ist sehr besonders! Man hat überhaupt keine Angst Fehler zu machen. Die Extracurriculars sind zum großteil kostenlos und man merkt, dass es der Schule nicht ums Geld geht! Ich kann es wirklich nur wärmstens empfehlen!! Ich habe den Intensivkurs gemacht und on top noch Privatstunden!
Eine wunderbare Erfahrung. Eine Woche voller spannender Eindrücke und Erlebnisse. Ich werde sehr gerne wieder kommen und kann diese Schule nur empfehlen.
War dort für 4 Wochen im Rahmen von einem Studienförderungsprogramm und die Schule ist wirklich toll!!
Die Eingruppierung nach den Sprachniveau wurde individuell angepasst und hat genau zu den Inhalten der Klasse gepasst. Und insbesondere die Lehrerinnen und Lehrer der Schule waren total klasse, sodass das Lernen richtig Spaß gemacht hat 🙂
Ich habe an einem einwöchigen Anfängerkurs teilgenommen, um einen Einstieg in die italienische Sprache zu finden. Meine Erwartungen wurden voll und ganz erfüllt. Der Unterricht, das Programm, die Organisation und insbesondere die Atmosphäre an der Schule sind einzigartig gut. Es war wirklich großartig zu erleben, mit welcher Passion, Freundlichkeit und auch Kompetenz der Direktor Massimo und alle Lehrer, die ich kennengelernt habe, gearbeitet haben. Ein großes Dankeschön an das gesamte Team! Schade, dass ich hier nur eine Woche gebucht habe. Mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit werde ich wiederkommen und den nächsten Sprachkurs besuchen.
La mejor decisión e inversión que pude haber tomado !! Los maestros son excelentes y aprendes muchísimo. Vivir en Bologna es un sueño y le recomiendo a todo que quiera aprender italiano venir a esta escuela sin pensarlo dos veces 🤍🤍

Good teachers, fun lessons and I learned a lot in a week. The extracarricular activities help you to get to know another side of Bologna. One that I really loved.

Ich hatte eine äußerst bereichernde Zeit an der Sprachschule.
Nette Leute aus der ganzen Welt.
Der Unterricht ist kompetent und zielgerichtet. Sie lernen die Sprache von Grund auf, was für eine Konversation Voraussetzung ist. Sie pauken nicht den ganzen Tag Vokabeln, sondern bekommen diese im Unterricht mit, sodass diese dann auch sitzen.
Die Passeggiata, mit Ilario sind immer sehr interessant.
Ich selbst kann die Schule nur empfehlen!

Un'esperienza fantastica. In cinque settimane ho imparato molto italiano: i tempi verbali, il lessico e il dialetto locale. Già dopo due settimane riuscivo a conversare con la gente del posto e le attività extracurricolari sono state davvero divertenti. Ho stretto amicizie incredibili a scuola e la comunità è splendida. Mi sono sentito davvero sostenuto dagli insegnanti e le lezioni sono state molto divertenti. Ho riso tanto. Consiglierei questa scuola.

J'ai suivi une semaine de cours à Cultura Italiana Bologna et j'ai beaucoup apprécié : la localisation, le bâtiment, l'accueil du directeur Massimo qui est un homme extraordinaire, les enseignants qui le sont tout autant, les activités proposées en dehors des cours pour découvrir la ville (et les glaces...), la pédagogie, la bienveillance, l'organisation, l'énergie... Je suis à peu près sûre d'y revenir 🙂

My second year visiting this school and it continues to be a fantastic school of dedicated teachers. It allows a perfect mix of study and holiday as Bologna is so beautiful and easy to negotiate. I will be back next year!

Cultura Italiana ist eine wunderbare Sprachschule im Herzen von Bologna. Ich war in 2026 schon zum fünften Mal hier und werde wieder kommen. Man fühlt sich sofort gut aufgenommen, die Stimmung ist heiter und familiär. Die Lehrkräfte sind engagiert, kompetent und verbreiten gute Laune. Mir gefällt auch die "bunte" Zusammensetzung der kleinen Gruppen, junge und reifere Menschen aus der ganzen Welt mit interessanten Lebensläufen und Ideen, die das Vergnügen und das Interesse am Italienisch lernen verbindet. Die intensiven Aufenthalte an dieser lebendigen inspirierenden Sprachschule im schönen Bologna wirken bei mir stets lange nach und bereichern mein Leben.

My two week experience at this school -- which attracts students from all ages and from around the world -- was absolutely exceptional. The teachers are all top notch, with excellent lesson plans, a variety of approaches (conversation, grammar) and really effective and personalized methods. The location is in the historic center of Bologna, a fantastic city that's close to so many other historic sites and cities. And the school continues its education offerings after classes with a variety of events (walks and longer hikes, city tours, aperitivi, gelato exploration, weekend trips to cities like Parma, Ferrara, Modena, etc... and even a fantastic cooking school offered twice a week). All this makes Cultura Italiana Bologna a perfect destination to immerse yourself in Italian culture and language studies. Can't speak highly enough for this great organization. I'll be back next year!
